Advertising Displays is a Swakopmund owned and based company specialising in illuminated street advertising.
…from humble beginnings to a world class standard.
Focusing on the client
The current Namibian owner, with a strong corporate business background, built the business over 12 years from humble and dilapidated beginnings to a world class standard.
This transition is evident in the initial slogan of (essentially the motto): “Your business efficiencies are also my concern”.
Pursuing excellence

The focus was then shifted to “pursuing excellence” in relation to the physical appearance of the structures.
During this period all structures were changed from bulbs to LED strips which provide perfect illumination at a fraction of energy usage.
The last few years the motto: “Pursuing tourism excellence” propelled the company to increasingly become community involved to contribute towards “tourism excellence”.
One such practical contribution is the sponsoring of the physical washing of all street structures like traffic lights, traffic signs etc.

The future
Advertising Displays actively supports the Destination Swakopmund initiative.
Our dream is to spearhead and support various programmes to transform the community in practical ways towards:
- Character transformation interventions,
- Tourism excellence interventions, and
- Service excellence interventions.
